Since 1981 we have organized 2,000 programs, courses, conferences, and exhibits in our efforts to bring a greater awareness and education to this important subject. In addition, the Kelley-Ross Foundation operates The Health Information Network — the most convenient, trusted, online learning tool for the State of Washington’s required HIV/AIDS Awareness training course and certification. Julie Vice Hagel is a role model that many of us at Kelley-Ross still attempt to emulate today. She was an amazing pharmacist, mentor, wife, and mother that was truly amazing in her time at Kelley-Ross and throughout her life. Julie was taken from us all far too soon, and with this scholarship, we honor her legacy at Kelley-Ross. The Julie Vice Hagel Memorial Scholarship is available for students enrolled in a Doctor of Pharmacy degree program with a goal of community pharmacy practice. Kelley-Ross’ health care delivery divisions have a long history and partnership with the Washington Teamsters, and we want to honor and respect that relationship. The Kelley-Ross Union Center Pharmacy Teamster Scholarship is open to any Teamster from Washington State or their child or dependent who is currently enrolled in a matriculated undergraduate program. Make a Donation to the Naloxone Training and Outreach Fund
Naloxone is an antidote for opiate overdose and, when administered in time, can save lives. Naloxone treatment works by blocking opioid drugs, such as heroin and methadone, from attaching to opioid receptors in the brain. As a partner with Public Health Seattle King County and the University of Washington Alcohol and Drug Abuse Institute, the Kelley-Ross Foundation supports the use of "Take Home Naloxone Kits" with online educational tools including the state's #1 Naloxone Training Video. Your donation to the Naloxone Training and Outreach Fund will allow us to bring this lifesaving procedure to more of those in need. We welcome your tax-deductible contribution in any amount.
